FILMING LOCATIONS
This shows the locations where the filming for our thriller has taken place, we have created this because it allows us to present and evaluate more efficiently so we do not confuse our storyboard locations.

The first filming location was on Devonshire Road, London. This is where the flashback of the party was shot. It was set in the front room of a friend's house and the lighting was dim so it appeared to be late. Filming took place for approximately an hour and a half.
We feel that this was a successful location to shoot this scene because there was enough room, there was a lot of clear space and because it was a friend's house, we had free access.
We next filmed along Station Road and the surrounding area, in Chingford. There were many dark alleyways, three churches and a dark path with some green space. We filmed in the evening so it was clearly dark outside, and the street lights gave enough light for the camera to pick up images.
I believe that filming in this location was successful as it gave a mysterious feel which was needed for our thriller.
The third filming location was set in and around the area of City Road in Old Street, London. This was where the police car, fire engine, stop sign and scenes with the blood and trees were shot. As it is the beginning of winter, it became dark quite early so it was shot at 6pm, meaning that these flashbacks would fit in with the previous ones, because it looks like they took place at around the same time.
These scenes were effective as the sounds captured from the fire engine and police car can be used, as they are clear, meaning that the difficulty of recording sounds is avoided.
The final filming location was on Spruce Hills Road in East London. This is where the main scenes were shot. We filmed in a friend's house, using the bedroom, hallway and bathroom. This meant that there were already props and costumes at the location, meaning that it was quicker and easier to set up. Filming took place for approximately 3-4 hours and because artificial lighting was used, the timing was not an issue.
We feel that this location was successful because we had lots of space as well as very little background noise from outside, as it is a quiet road.
