FILM PRODUCTION RISK ASSESMENT

These are all pictures of things that could make a risk towards filming and could prevent things from happening.
-
We as a group need to prevent liquids from being near any eletrical equipment as theres a big risk it could get damaged which results in filming from slowing down and material that may not have been saved to be lost (6)
-
Outside sounds may also be an issue if any footage is recorded outside as it then effects the quality of the footage which makes the overall film poor quality. Also, when filming we need to make sure that everyones silent and the person in charge of the camera isn't breathing on the camera whilst things are being recorded as the footage will also be low quality as well. -
When filming in an open enviorment its important to go to the location before filming to see what times its quieter as you dont want people to be walking across your footage if thats not the effect you want to give off(5)
-
Always keep care of expensive equipment remembering to take the camera off the tripod when walking around with it preventing it from dropping. Along with making sure your tripods loose so you dont hear the tripod squeaking when being turnt if following the person or location.(8)
Were doing a risk assesment to evaluate the potential risks that may be involved in filming and planning for it so we can be as safe as possible for not only ourselves but people around us as well.

Although many of the risks are likely to take place, they can easily be prevented. Additionally, the risks stated do not put the cast or crew in any danger, meaning that we can use ordinary actors and actresses without needing stunt doubles. For example, we will not be using a car in our production and the majority of the filming will be taking place indoors.
However, we will have to be cautious of other cars when filming some flashbacks, as filming will be taking place near a busy road.
Another concern is about the people starring in the film, as the filming will be taking place on more than one occasion, we will have to ensure that the cast are able to maintain the same appearance. An example is that we cannot have an actress dye their hair between filming as the scenes would not appear to have taken place at the same time, which is what we need in our production.
